Kindergarten-2nd grade

Kindergarten through 2nd grade will be playing the fall and winter session at the YMCA.  Games start in late October.  You can register with the Youth Sports Organization.  This will allow us to get a list of kids together to create teams to play at the YMCA.  Parents will still need to register and pay through the YMCA website.  

3rd-6th grade basketball

Boys will play in the Omaha Sports Academy (OSA) Predator League.  We have added the option of 3rd grade boys and 5th grade boys to play at the YMCA instead of OSA.  The OSA league is a step above the level of competition at the YMCA.  Kids playing at OSA will need to purchase a jersey and you can do so during registration.  YMCA teams will use the jersey that you get with YMCA registration.

The basketball season is from October to March.  These leagues break the season into fall and winter sessions.  The fall session starts in October and the winter session starts in January.  Both sessions consist of 7 regular season games with an end of season single elimination tournament

Teams will have 1 to 2 practices a week.

Registration will close in early September. 

Cost:

Jersey cost $50 (jersey can be used for each basketball session and subsequent years).  If the uniform fits from last year then don't buy a new one. Boys: $170 for registration costs
